Sodon Lake House Featured in Detroit Design Magazine

Detroit Design Magazine has featured Sodon Lake House, highlighting the renovation of a long-vacant midcentury residence on Oakland County’s Sodon Lake. The article explores how the project balances preservation with contemporary updates, working within the home’s existing footprint while breathing life back into the space.

Reflecting on the home’s original condition, principal and founding partner David Iannuzzi shares, “A typical tired Mid-century Modern house… but you could tell it had amazing bones. The client fell in love with the house and, like us, she had the ability to visualize its potential.”

The feature traces how that perspective guided the renovation, resulting in a renewed lakeside home rooted in its midcentury origins while supporting modern family life.
