PLAIN Magazine Features Baw Beese House

PLAIN Magazine has featured Baw Beese House. The piece looks at the project’s approach to multigenerational living on a lakeside site in Michigan.

The house is arranged as four timber-clad volumes connected by glazed walkways, allowing shared gathering spaces and quieter zones to remain distinct. Shou sugi ban siding, a steel roof, and a thermally efficient concrete floor help the structure have a minimal carbon footprint.
