Baw Beese House Wins 2025 Detroit Design Award
Disbrow Iannuzzi received 1st place in the Vacation Home category at the 2025 Detroit Design Awards for Baw Beese House.
The Detroit Design Awards honor exceptional residential and commercial design across the region. In their comments, the jury highlighted the project’s minimal impact on the land and low carbon footprint, achieved through three distinct living areas and “forward-thinking details like hydronic radiant heat, non-toxic wool insulation, shou sugi ban wood siding, and a low-maintenance, standing seam steel ‘hot’ roof.”
