Plain Magazine Features Sodon Lake House

Disbrow Iannuzzi Architects is excited to share that Plain Magazine has featured the studio’s Sodon Lake House project in its latest editorial.

Designed for a family of four relocating from California, the 5,000-square-foot mid-century modern residence in Bloomfield Township was reimagined to reflect a laid-back Southern California aesthetic while embracing sustainable upgrades and modern performance. From insulating existing brick with a new exterior system to implementing cedar rain screens and floor-to-ceiling glazing, the redesign honors the home’s mid-century character while elevating it for a modern lifestyle.
