Site Visit to North Birch in Lake Leelanau, Michigan

Installation of the corten steel is underway at North Birch, a cabin overlooking Lake Leelanau in northern Michigan.

Set into a wooded hillside, the 1,800 square-foot retreat is designed for year-round use by family and friends. The wedge-like form follows the site's natural slope and is intended to gradually blend into the surrounding forest over time.
